PURPOSE OF THE JOB A Business Analyst is responsible for improving business operations by analyzing processes, translating business needs into technical specifications, and managing the implementation of new technologies and strategies. Key duties include gathering requirements, designing future-state processes, performing gap analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating documentation like business requirements documents (BRDs) and user stories.  MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB * Lead the analysis of current business processes, systems, and digital capabilities to identify areas for improvement and optimization. * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for transformation projects. * Work with technical teams to design and recommend digital solutions that meet business needs and align with strategic goals. * Create essential documents, including BRDs, process flows, and user stories, to guide the development and implementation of new systems. * Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating workshops, and ensuring clear communication and consensus. * Assist in managing the organizational changes required for digital transformation and coach employees on new processes. * Analyze data and create reports/dashboards to inform decision-making and track the performance of new initiatives. *  Conduct gap and feasibility analyses to identify the differences between current and desired future states.  WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED * A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business analytics, is an asset.  * Identify issues and recommend solutions. * Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with diverse stakeholders. * Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, project management software, and business process modeling tools. * Experience in business process engineering and creating functional process maps. * Ability to work with project managers to ensure goals are met on time and within budget.
