JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations Support (BOS) and collaborating with the Business System Analysts, the Business Analyst will be joining Wynward’s BOS team to support business operations and their fellow coworkers across the Country.
The successful candidate must be customer service focused, able to establish and maintain positive working relationships, high attention to detail, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in Business Analysis is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills, with good attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating test plans and cases is an asset
  • Experience with issue tracking systems (JIRA)
  • University or College education, preferable in a business or analytical discipline is an asset
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset

Responsibilities
  • Work closely, provide user support, and develop strong relationships across departments within the Company.
  • Analysis of new products, coverages and change requests​ to gather and document business requirements for configuration​
  • Review Change requests for work arounds, additional efficiencies, or configuration changes required​
  • Assess operational impact due to new or updated configuration, process changes and base system updates​
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet all business requirements.
  • Assist the Business Operations Support Manager in identifying, planning, and prioritizing projects related to Enterprise.
  • Work with Business System analysts on test cases​
  • Design and execute training.
