Position: Business Analyst II-Fuels Compliance
Position Type: W2 Contract
Position Location: Houston, TX
Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administration of environmental fuel credit transactions, including processing RIN transactions, reconciliation, analysis, and validation of data
  • Frequent interaction with various front-office and back-office team members and third parties
  • Fuel transaction reconciliation, data entry, internal reporting
  • Participation in projects as needed to identify and implement business process improvement opportunities

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Proven commitment to accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • High level of self-initiative and drive
  • Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA

Preferred:

  • Technical aptitude to learn quickly and become self-sufficient
  • Knowledge of Commercial trading and operations businesses
  • Knowledge of RIN credits
  • Knowledge of EPA’s RFS program
  • Proven ability to master back-office systems
  • Experience with clean and renewable products commercial operations
