Position Summary The Business Analyst II supports the assigned business areas(s), in this case Gastroenterology by delivering data-driven insights that inform operational, financial, and strategic decision-making. This role develops and maintains dashboards, fulfills data requests, and monitors key performance indicators to assess the overall health of the business unit programs. The analyst partners closely with business unit leadership, and cross-functional teams to define metrics, interpret trends, and proactively surface risks or opportunities that impact end-user experience, operational efficiency, and program growth. We are seeking a Business Analyst II to support Gastroenterology in transforming data into actionable intelligence. This position plays a key role in supporting the assigned Gastroenterology, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Develops, maintains, and enhances dashboards and scorecards Monitors and trends key program metrics, identifying increases, decreases, or anomalies; proactively escalating issues to business segment leadership Fulfills ad hoc and recurring compliance data requests Partners with stakeholders to understand business needs and define clear, consistent metric definitions Validates data accuracy and ensures reporting aligns with agreed-upon definitions and requirements Supports continuous improvement by refining dashboards, metrics, and reporting as program needs evolve Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, finance, economics, or related field (Required) Advanced coursework or certification in analytics or business intelligence (Preferred) Licensure/Certification: None Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or reporting-focused role (Required) Experience working with operational or healthcare datasets (Preferred) Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams in a regulated environment (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of business analysis and performance measurement; dashboarding and reporting best practices, common operational and financial KPIs in healthcare or specialty programs; and data integrity and governance fundamentals (Required) Knowledge of healthcare, pharmacy, or specialty program workflows and program-level financial and operational metrics (Preferred) Data analysis and visualization skills (Required) Requirements gathering and metric definition skills (Required) SQL, Excel, or BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) skills (Preferred) Ability to clearly communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders (Required) Ability to translate business questions into actionable data outputs (Required) Ability to identify meaningful trends and articulate their impact (Required) Ability to anticipate questions from leadership and proactively surface insights (Preferred) Work Environment Location: Hybrid Schedule: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with night and weekend hours on occasion as determined by the needs of the business. Regular meetings with business segment leadership, Quality, QMS, Training, Leadership & Development, and Operations teams.
