OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in JIRA, Azure DevOps dashboards, Agile methodology, writing user stories, and acting as a liaison between product and engineering teams. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the high quality of software delivery by outlining requirements, collaborating on development strategies, and facilitating communication between different teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in a software development environment.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Azure DevOps dashboards for managing Agile projects and tracking progress.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, with experience in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and participating in Agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, bridging the gap between business and technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and practices is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal required
Responsibilities
  • Support the team in meeting release goals and objectives by actively participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Outline the requirements for a business capability by gathering and analyzing user needs, translating them into actionable user stories, and prioritizing them in the product backlog.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to determine the best strategies for building and supporting requested features and functionalities.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and product development team to ensure alignment with the team’s goals and objectives, providing insights and recommendations as needed.
  • Generate various types of documentation, including but not limited to user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and system diagrams, to enable the team, organization, and customers.
  • Continuously improve processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software delivery.
