Description
Responsibilities · Identify intelligence needs of each department through one-to-one communications of key employees at the individual brand level and the corporate level · Develop and maintain global data models by analyzing use cases and applications at Yum! and Taco Bell. · Connecting and optimizing existing datasets and creating new datasets as needed to support the business requirements of the leadership team and the individual departments · Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. · Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies. · Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions and solve difficult problems. · Gather information for project-related research; analyze that information; and produce reports based on the analyses. · Use data mining, model building, and other analytical techniques to develop predictive models to drive the business. · Design, build and launch extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data in real-time across multiple platforms. · Collaborate with other tech teams to implement advanced analytics algorithms that exploit datasets for statistical analysis, prediction, clustering and machine learning. · Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers · Build and maintain data integration utilities, including data scheduling and monitoring capabilities, data catalogs, and data lineage trees. · Design and Develop data pipelines using Metadata driven ETL Tools and open-source data processing frameworks. · Provide production support and resolve high priority incidents and the development coding issues. · Develop an understanding of each department's role within the company; maintain an advanced knowledge of their needs in the high-tech industry to remain competitive. Minimum Requirements: • BE-BTECH – with 2-4 / 4-6 years of experience using Power BI • Experience working in technical project teams and delivering outcomes. • Experience with writing SQL queries • Experience with data quality and validation. • Experience querying massive datasets • Custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance. • Persistence, attention to detail and ability to complete projects and keep to deadlines. • Excellent analytical skills. • Manages diverse relationships • Flexibility in attending meetings with people on different time zones • Steps up to challenges, seeing them as opportunities. • Runs participative meetings with stakeholders • Copes effectively with change. • Understanding the business and competition
