QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, in business, finance or computer science preferred; 10 years relevant experience acceptable in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. Five (5) to seven (7) years of data analysis, or project management experience preferably in the insurance industry; minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with Developers, Project Managers, Quality Assurance Managers and Release Managers preferred.

COMPUTER TECHNICAL SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong proficiency in SQL queries and related tools such as SQL functions and creation of temporary tables; Proficiency working with DB2 and the ability to work with SQL Server and Sybase. Proficiency working with reporting and Business Intelligence tools including the ability to understand and produce tabular reports, bar graphs, line graphs and pie charts. Working knowledge of SDLC concepts and goals. Experience with Kanban methodology, Cognos, InfoMaker and Rational Requisite Pro is a plus.
