Description

BUSINESS ANALYST IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST

The Business Analyst Implementation Specialist will play a critical role in building and institutionalizing best-in-class business analysis practices. As a new role for the organization, this individual will be responsible for introducing, designing, and implementing business analysis and formalized project management frameworks, methodologies, and processes to improve organizational performance and ensure successful project outcomes.
As a key member of the Transformation Office, the Business Analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, identify opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is well organized, an analytical thinker, a natural collaborator, and an experienced change agent with a proven track record of establishing business analysis processes in dynamic environments.

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT:

  • Elicit, document, and validate business requirements using various techniques (e.g., workshops, interviews, focus groups, and observations).
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and define the scope of projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements from initiation through to delivery and implementation.
  • Work with technical teams to document potential solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Document current-state processes and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification (e.g., PMI-PBA, IIBA certifications) are preferred.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist) are a plus.
  • 3+ years of business analysis experience, including 2+ years of experience introducing and implementing BA processes in an organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable results through process design and improvement.
  • Hands-on experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.
  • Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Visio, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project or similar).
  • Deep knowledge of business analysis methodologies, including process modeling, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and propose practical solutions.
