Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a unique opportunity to work with one of Australia’s leading Insurers!
This role will support the Infrastructure team to enhance the end user experience, with a preference for candidates who have a background in areas like end user compute, server upgrades, and Windows 11. You’ll be involved in a range of initiatives that may include device upgrades, application transitions, and cloud remediation activities
You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 250 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Analyse business area use of systems and applications and determining impact of changes to systems and how this affects each business area
  • Determining requirements for applications and how this may have some technical impact (working with tech team)
  • Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues, and other key stakeholders
  • Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
  • Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
  • Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.
