In this role, you will focus on data management, data requirements, data definition & mapping, data quality and data remediation for business related background topics. You will participate in a squad as a Business Analyst within D&R. As an expert, you deliver the necessary knowledge and skills to make standard and best products/services for our data consumers. Besides that, you continuously deepen and broaden your knowledge and skills in your area of expertise within your area. You will be actively involved in the maintenance, development and realization of current & new requirements and services. As an expert, you deliver the necessary knowledge and skills to support deliveries towards stakeholders, performing reconciliation and operational requests necessary for data quality monitoring & data quality issues remediation. Besides that, you continuously deepen and broaden your Data Quality and Data modelling knowledge and skills in your area of expertise. Your activities will be in the area of: Be involved in Change & Run bank’s data management activities; Collect & write the detailed business data quality requirements; Implement or support implementation of the Data Quality Rules; Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards using BI Tools; Read and understand regulatory requirements; Support the Data Engineers in creating tools used in data quality monitoring; Coordinate and Execute Data Quality Issue Remediation; Report on the progress and communicate the dependencies and impediments to stakeholders; Contribute to existing principles, standards, guidelines and way of working to continuously improve them; Support gathering evidence that the process meets Data Management Process Control Standards Support the development and configuration of the solution. What we are looking for: You are an enthusiastic and energetic professional with a passion for data management in a banking context. You know exactly how to empathize with the needs of your stakeholders and translate this into standard and innovative products. You have a clear vision on the area of expertise of the squad, including the knowledge of Finance, assets and tooling used. You have a strong drive to keep your expertise up to date and have the ambition to continuously improve yourself on a personal and professional level. You are very analytical and take decisions based on data and facts. You are a strong communicator and can present your work in a clear manner. Required Knowledge: Sourcing, classifying & onboarding data for different business areas. Knowledge of and experience within data management and analyzing large data sets and data quality. Hands on proficient level of experience on SQL and MS Excel. Understanding of Data Modelling, being able to interpret logical and conceptual data models and able to explain these models in a natural language. Knowledge of and experience with Change delivery in an agile environment (impact analysis, configuration, testing). Experience in Regression and User Acceptance testing. Experience in building and maintaining data requirements regarding Statutory and Regulatory Reporting. Credit and/or Market Risk Knowledge is a pre. Required Skills Hands on proficient level experience in SQL and with MS excel Ability of thorough understanding of logical Data Models and Modelling Ability to (re)design and improve financial reporting business processes Retail Banking products knowledge from accounting and financial reporting perspective Working knowledge on Regulatory Reporting – preferably FINREP Experience with functional UAT testing Strong requirements management skills Excellent Communication skills, written communication and power to convince Ability to work under tight deadlines Result driven and structured worker who is focused on the delivery and eager to work with details on Data quality and reporting Strong team player, self-organizing and proactive with ability to connect, having growth mind-set, flexibility, focused on cooperation and sharing knowledge Your education, experience and background University (Bachelor’s/Master’s) degree in (business) economics or a comparable field. Affinity with IT. You like to work in a multidisciplinary squad. You actively ask for help and feedback and are confident to give feedback. You take responsibility to get the work done. You easily adapt to new environments. You continuously improve yourself and you help your colleagues in their development. Knowledge of and experience with Agile way of working. Excellent communication skills in English.
