BUSINESS ANALYST

The Business Analyst role at Innovet Health supports Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives by bridging technical teams, clinical/operational stakeholders, and policy leaders. The role combines strong communications and technical writing skills with applied analysis expertise in the healthcare industry to clearly document, evaluate, and communicate the value of AI initiatives.
This role will serve as a bridge between data science teams, clinical/operational stakeholders, and decision-makers—ensuring analytical insights are well-understood, actionable, and aligned with VA mission objectives. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in analyzing AI-related use cases, conducting Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), and applying economic models relevant for VA to assess impact and return on investment (ROI). This individual will also play a key role in preparing high-quality documentation, white papers, and communications that clearly convey the value proposition of AI initiatives to diverse VA stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Economics, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong background in technical writing, communications, and analysis.
  • Experience with AI/analytics use cases in healthcare and ability to assess impact, cost-benefit, and ROI.
  • Skilled at communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with healthcare, VA systems, or federal health policy (preferred).
