Background on the Team Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Insurance Solutions team proudly supports its insurance prospects, clients and strategic partners with bespoke investment solutions and a comprehensive, innovative range of asset classes. We seek to provide insurers risk-based capital efficient investment solutions and add value through thought leadership, insurance portfolio optimizations and strategic asset allocations, reporting and transparency, risk and governance, and technical considerations of local industry and regulatory change. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven professional with global perspective to join the Mumbai based Portfolio Manager Support Services Group. Relevant details below: Responsibilities Data management: Source, clean, and validate data from multiple inputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Reporting & visualization: Build and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports, including dashboards, charts, and automated reporting outputs. Support multiple projects across all focus areas. Skills desired Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in VBA, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Python or R. Financial fundamentals: Strong grasp of core financial concepts, major asset classes, and financial statement analysis. Insurance expertise (preferred): Familiarity with the U.S. life insurance industry and statutory (SAP) reporting / statutory statements is a strong plus. Portfolio context (preferred): Exposure to portfolio management, particularly public and private fixed income, is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
