Description
Start Your Next Chapter as a Business Analyst at AA As the new year approaches, you may be considering your next move as a Business Analyst. If you’re seeking to join a Kiwi icon, develop your BA skills, and be part of newly formed teams shaping AA’s future, we want to hear from you. AA is rolling out a new delivery model, and we’re looking for Business Analysts to join our value stream squads. You’ll work in cross-functional teams with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, and Testers, guided by Value Stream Leads who set outcomes and work with Product Owners to prioritise the work. As a BA, you’ll work closely with the PO and the team to deliver practical, user-centred solutions that support AA’s ongoing transformation. What you’ll do: Support discovery and definition of business needs, ensuring alignment with initiative objectives and value stream priorities across initiatives and epics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-design solutions, applying user-centric and lean practices. Develop your capability by learning from senior BAs and team members. Participate in process reviews and suggest improvements to streamline delivery and enhance value for members. Build stakeholder relationships and support clear communication. What you’ll bring: 2–3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a corporate environment. Good written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities. Developing analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-oriented mindset. Experience supporting initiatives and epics using agile and/or traditional methodologies. Willingness to learn and apply Design Thinking and Lean principles; familiarity with tools like Miro, Jira, and Confluence is desirable. Why AA? Be part of a respected NZ organisation with a proud history and a commitment to innovation. Join newly formed teams and a supportive BA community focused on continuous improvement. Enjoy a culture built on pride, team spirit, challenge, and balance. Flexible hybrid working and opportunities for learning and development.
