We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Business Analyst Intern. The preferred location for this role is our Edmonton office in Alberta, with flexibility to also work from the Verdun office in Montreal and reporting to the Finance Business Partner - Innovation, R&D, and Sustainability.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATES

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• CPA and/or MBA an asset
• Bilingualism (French and English preferred)
• Dynamic, innovative thinker with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in research, innovation, investments or a related field considered an asset
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Advanced MS Power Point skills
• Working with large data sets
• KPIs and performance management experience
• SQL (nice to have) – to connect to Datawarehouse
• Power Bi
• SAP knowledge (nice to have) – will help while transitioning to SAP

Reporting to the Finance Business partner for Innovation, R&D, and Sustainability, this position is key to business and financial analysis and reporting. The findings of the various analysis will contribute to forecast and budget preparation, enterprise performance management as well as strategic decision-making.
