EEO/Disabled/Vets Job Description : Job Title: Business Analyst - Intern Reporting To: Project Management Office, Senior Manager Compute APAC Role Overview: The Business Analyst (BA) for the Service Account Cleanup Project will analyze the service accounts in alignment with corporate standards and policy and will be responsible for assessing, categorizing and documenting findings and recommendations for execution by Compute Ops engineers. The BA will work closely with stakeholders across News Corp Australia Technology Teams, Cyber and Global Tech Compute Ops, and other functions to facilitate the identification of accounts that do not meet our compliance and lifecycle policy requirements in preparation for remediation activities to be executed. Key Responsibilities: Engage with internal stakeholders to identify accounts that are no longer required. Engage with internal stakeholders to identify accounts that do not meet the password and configuration compliance standards. Organize, manage, and report on findings and progress updates to the Project Leader and PMO weekly. Document all findings, communications and recommendations and perform handover to technical teams for execution of required changes. Technical Skills: Deliver technical writing using Google Workspace platform. Ability to translate technical concepts into multiple, readable formats. Competent with conducting policy, process, and procedural revisions. Fundamental knowledge of IT and cybersecurity principles and concepts. JIRA skills Business & Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving. Requirement gathering and documentation Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work cross-functionally (Security, IT, Compliance etc.). Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Adaptability to changing business and technology landscapes. Experience & Qualifications: Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience as a Business Analyst in IT is desirable. Experience in enterprise-wide technology implementations is a plus. Background in security, compliance, or risk management projects is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
