Kidwell is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst - Internal Systems to support the analysis, development, integration, and maintenance of all Kidwell business operating systems. This position is ideal for someone who has recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and wants hands-on experience contributing to live business-critical systems.
It involves collaboration with our internal teams to troubleshoot, develop, and maintain software systems and tools that support functions such as Procurement, Project Management, ERP, Document Management, and HRIS.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of internal software systems like CRM, Procurement Systems, ERP, PM Software, etc.
  • Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, deployment, and support
  • Collaborate with other departments using Agile methodologies
  • Write, review, and maintain clean, object-oriented code
  • Debug and resolve system-level issues, log and track software bugs
  • Assist in data analysis and automation projects using tools like Python or other scripting languages
  • Contribute to system documentation, user guides, and training resources
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Help with rollout, onboarding, and user training for newly developed tools or enhancements

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Recently completed a university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Understanding of software development concepts, including version control, coding standards, testing methodologies, agile practices, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with or knowledge of one or more programming languages: Python, C#, JavaScript
  • Understanding of API technologies and data exchange formats (e.g., REST, JSON, XML)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including use for analysis and data manipulation
  • Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience in pair programming

Optional / Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with web development (front-end or back-end)
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization)
  • Exposure to HRIS, ERP, or CRM software
