Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Business Analyst, you have a continuous focus on optimizing the business through tool development and analysis. Your primary responsibility is to understand and improve data and KPIs for reporting as well as develop optimization and reporting tools to measure business performance and processes.

More specifically, your job includes:

  • Develop and maintain data and reporting, mainly in Excel and Power BI
  • Identifying areas and tools that help increase efficiency and automation of processes
  • Setting up and maintain automated data processes
  • Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Preparing material and analyses together with different business functions
  • Conduct training sessions in the use and understanding of reporting tools
  • Data validation
  • Ensure knowledge sharing across departments.

The scope of your role may evolve over time, allowing you to gradually take on more of a business partner role, focussing on following up on the performance and supporting the business as a trusted advisor.

To succeed in this role, we imagine you bring:

  • A degree in business, finance, IT or a similar field
  • Strong skills in Excel
  • A keen interest in data, optimisation and automation
  • Familiarity with Power BI or SQL is a plus — but not a requirement
  • Solid analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
