For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Business Analyst (Java, Excel, Data Query Languages).

THE MISSION

Financial Markets (FM) is the Bank’s gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of the clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.
Within FM, in Competitive Pricing area, we have a Pricing Architecture (IPA) asset, which consists of multiple components that enable real-time and batch calculations of financial risk metrics and simulations (e.g. XVA, PFE, Value at Risk, Expected Shortfall, Bilateral Margining, pre-deal derivatives Pricing) which are driven by new banking regulations as well as advanced Risk analysis on the derivative product portfolio of Financial Markets (interest rates, credits, foreign exchange). This asset is in the heart of the IT landscape for our global dealing rooms and risk managers in Asia, Europe and Americas, with approx.. 30 scrum teams spread across 4 locations (Amsterdam, Brussels, Bucharest and Singapore), cooperating to evolve it towards target our clients Financial Markets IT vision.
IPA TradeStore’s purpose is to become the golden source of trade data within FM Competitive Pricing area, by capturing trades from a variety of Deal Capture systems used by the FO/Trading & FO/Sales divisions. The trade data is afterwards made available to pricing and risk engines integrated within the platform, respectively to risk and analytics reporting systems.
For a rebuild of our current application we are looking for an IT Business Analyst. The assignment will be for a 3 months period with possible extension to 6 months depending on the need of the development team.
As IT Business Analyst, you will analyse the current application and document the functional flows around data loading and processing as well as reconciliation processes with source systems. This will enable the squad to effectively deliver towards the rebuild milestones.
You will work closely with experienced Customer Journey Experts and the Development team to document the functional flows and refine users stories on the basis of your documentation. You will also provide input for acceptance and unit testing.
You are a self starter and have a proven track record to adapt swiftly to new environments and are able to finish your tasks independently and in a timely manner.
