We are seeking a UK-based Business Analyst / Junior Consultant to support an 8-week consulting engagement with a client in the UAE. The role combines business analysis (service blueprinting, diagnostics, operating model mapping) with light project coordination (tracking deliverables, managing timelines, scheduling).
The consultant will work closely with the Lead Consultant both in the UK and onsite in Dubai/India during client workshops.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Miro, Lucidchart, Visio).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with CRM/automation concepts (Zoho experience a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills; able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint/Canva/Google Slides for client-ready presentations.
  • Professional, client-facing presence, able to travel and represent the consultancy

Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Gather and document requirements through interviews, workshops, and SOP/CRM reviews.
  • Develop as-is service blueprints and backend process maps.
  • Analyse frontend (customer) journeys and backend workflows (handoffs, CRM, automation opportunities).
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Draft insights and recommendations to support future-state service models.

Project Coordination

  • Maintain and update the project plan, deliverables tracker, and timeline.
  • Coordinate workshops, interviews, and client sessions (both virtual and onsite).
  • Track action items and follow up with stakeholders (internal team + client).
  • Prepare weekly progress reports (status, blockers, next steps).
  • Manage all project documentation (blueprints, issue logs, notes).

Delivery Support

  • Prepare and format client-facing decks, reports, and visuals.
  • Produce first drafts of deliverables for review by the Lead Consultant.
  • Support quality assurance by ensuring all outputs are consistent and accurate.

  • Exposure to service design, customer journey mapping, or operating model design.
  • Strong coordination / junior PMO experience.
  • UK-based with valid passport and willingness to travel to Dubai (and India if required) during key project phases.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: £2,035.00-£2,300.00 per month
