QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

  • Evidenced certification of Analysis standards preferred.
  • Product owner, project, and change management-related professional qualifications are desirable but not essential.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

The Business Analyst must possess analytical, creative, and communication skills and a broad and solid expertise in analysis techniques, solution development, and change management. The ability to self-manage in a dynamic environment with a results-driven mindset is essential.

  • Proven experience in Business Analyst role at a minimum 3 years
  • Experience within Financial services preferred
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to interpret business goals and solutions and deliver on short-term commitments whilst considering the longer-term impacts.
  • Problem-solving: Solid experience in analysing, synthesising, and logically structuring information in a step-by-step way to identify trends and find solutions, mainly through collaboration tools.
  • Analysis techniques: Good knowledge and application of analysis techniques, design principles, Agile practices, and risk in analysis.
  • Creativity: Adaptable and creative approaches, with the ability to use operating models and design principles to solve business problems.
  • Communication: Strong collaboration, facilitation, presentation, communication skills and ability to purposefully communicate appropriate, concise and accurate information.
  • Stakeholder management: Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and convince, with negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Results-oriented: Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented, able to lead analysis in different environments and challenges.
  • Solution development: Knowledge of proposition development, operating and business model design, and business and solution architecture, focusing on commercial and risk analysis.§ Data analysis: Good data analysis skills to drive data-led insights and innovation.
  • Project and change management: Understanding project and change management in different environments to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Mentoring and team development: Support and encourage the development of other team members, bring maturity to the BA disciplines and strive to identify and implement improvements.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Business Analyst contributes to business analysis activities to drive rapid and effective design and delivery of solutions to business problems.
As catalysts for change, they will analyse business needs, collaborate with stakeholders to deeply understand the desired business outcomes, develop options, agree on proposed solutions, and support the detailed design, building, and implementation of the solutions into the business.
They will support other team members in developing requirements analysis, design, problem-solving, and pragmatic process improvement.
They will support Group design standards and apply appropriate delivery and analysis best practices to deliver the most important outcomes and iteratively evolving solutions rapidly.
