Description Evans is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join one of their growing contracts supporting the Federal Reserve Board. This role will support the development, implementation, continuous improvement, and maintenance of an examiner workflow tool that will replace and enhance a legacy system leveraging AWS cloud services. The Senior BA will work closely with the product owner and development team to ensure a shared understanding of desired outcomes, capturing requirements and updating user stories throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is well-versed in Agile methodologies, experienced with AWS GovCloud UI application development, and comfortable facilitating ceremonies and driving backlog health. Location details: This role is on-site 5 days/week at Federal Reserve Board Headquarters. • Capture, analyze, specify, verify, and manage business and system requirements for a web-based UI and data-driven application. • Develop and maintain high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria, prioritization, and effort estimation. • Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. • Assist with release management and Program Increment (PI) planning sessions. • Partner with the product owner and development team to maintain a shared understanding of feature goals and desired outcomes. • Support the migration from a legacy system to a modern AWS GovCloud-based examiner workflow tool. • Produce clear, well-structured business requirements documentation; writing samples may be requested. • Identify and surface risks, dependencies, and blockers to keep delivery on track. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computing Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant technical discipline. • Minimum 10 years of experience leading projects or key business initiatives. • At least 2 years of IT portfolio and customer relationship management experience. • At least one of the following certifications or equivalent: PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM). • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Experience working on AWS GovCloud User Interface (UI) application development projects. • Strong experience working in the Agile space: Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. • Direct experience facilitating backlog refinement and assisting with release management and PI planning. • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $107,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans's total compensation package for employees.
