Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of mission-critical health application technologies to over 25,000 users across the province. This role will play a pivotal part in the planning, design, and management of initiatives that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and quality of applications directly impacting patient care and clinical decision support. The successful candidate will work closely with application services teams, healthcare stakeholders, and technology subject matter experts to define and document business requirements, develop detailed process and workflow diagrams, and drive incident resolution from investigation to closure. Ideal candidates will bring at least seven years of senior-level business analysis experience, proven expertise in documenting processes and developing operational standards, and a strong background in health-related technology, ideally with exposure to Meditech or Allscripts systems. Exceptional communication skills, advanced stakeholder engagement abilities, and current business analysis certification (PMI-PBA, IIBA-CBAP, or equivalent) are essential for success in this high-impact, fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years demonstrated experience working as a Senior Business Analyst within a team environment where the candidate was called on to perform tasks in a mixture of collaborative and autonomous modes.
• 7+ years demonstrated competency in effective interactive communication and presentations as Senior Business Analyst.
• 7+ years demonstrated experience in documenting/diagramming business processes and workflows.
• 7+ years demonstrated experience in developing operational procedures, standards, and/or policies to achieve identified business outcomes.
• Current certification from a recognized professional business analysis association, such as PMI-PBA, IIBA-CBAP.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience working in health-related technology or clinical field.
• 2+ years demonstrated experience working with the Meditech or Allscripts Clinical Information Systems.

• Collaborating closely with application services teams and healthcare business stakeholders to define, validate, and document detailed business requirements related to application change requests.
• Creating and validating current and future state process and system workflow diagrams to clearly depict business and system interactions.
• Investigating assigned incidents by engaging with end users and technology subject matter experts, proposing effective solutions, and managing the incident through to resolution.
• Supporting the planning, design, and management of health application technology initiatives to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
• Preparing deliverables in appropriate formats such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, and obtaining necessary approvals from application managers or team leads.
• Engaging with subject matter experts to understand business priorities, desired outcomes, and core business capabilities to inform analysis and solution design.
• Developing and maintaining operational procedures, standards, and policies to support identified business outcomes.
• Communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders through presentations, meetings, and documentation to facilitate collaboration and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
