Description

Can you combine the best of both worlds? And are you a Business Analyst, Pension Specialist or Actuary looking for new challenges? Then you might be the one we are looking for to join our Product Development department in Copenhagen!

KEY ABOUT YOUR TEAM

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Product Development - Life Events team for our Pension administration solution! We are a group of highly dedicated software experts, who are cooperative and eager to do the best for our clients. In the Life Events team, our focus is on the implementation and enhancement of most of the main life events that a policyholder may encounter over their lifetime, for example retirement, death and disability. We strive to develop a standardized and consistent solution across our different clients, as well as across different countries.

Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst in Keylane, you will be a part of our Product Development department and will work closely with our Product Owners, Cluster Managers, Developers, and clients to make sure our products continue being the leading solutions in the financial market. It is in Product Development that we do the actual building of our software – the machine room if you like. This also means that you will not be in the front lines when it comes to direct client contact, but rather discuss and provide pension knowledge to your colleagues, who might be experts within other areas, such as the technical field. You see, we believe that working together and combining the best of both worlds is where the magic happens. Using your pension knowledge, you will analyze requirements coming in from our customers and help evolve and design a standard solution to support their needs. Your field of expertise will be focusing on our calculation kernel and implementation of events to support the different life events a policy holder will encounter.
We are internationalizing our policy administration system, Plexus, which introduces an international work environment with close cooperation with our colleagues in the Netherlands. It is essential that we emphasize business understanding, and that you are willing to both listen and discuss the different challenges and solutions in a professional manner.

In the role as Business Analyst you will have tasks that include:

  • Transforming business requirements into development and test tasks.
  • Analyzing which parts of our system should be adjusted to support new features and new customers, e.g. product setup, process improvements and mathematical configurability.
  • Designing the solution and guiding our developers as they code new features within life events area.
  • Developing and running test cases that deal with mathematics and business processes, e.g. pension event calculations, premium calculations, workflow adjustments.
  • Demoing our new features and enhancements to stakeholders
