Description:
NN and ING have set up a common insurance team called the “One Orange Team”, with the aim to become the fastest growing digital insurance franchise in Belgium. One Orange Team covers Non-Life insurance solutions, Life insurance solutions and Investments solutions. While most One Orange Team members are part of the NN family and spirit, the team is physically located at the ING premises and works closely together with ING’s Insurance and Investment Tribes. To enforce our team, we are looking for multiple business analysts with preferably a background in (Life) protection.
NN and ING have defined an ambitious roadmap over the next years to become a leading player in life insurance solutions. You will be part of the One Orange Team working closely together with the ING Insurance Tribe. The Insurance Tribe delivers, amongst others, life protection solutions and related digital and branch sales flows. As a business analyst you will be in charge of working together with business stakeholders and IT in order to realize new projects and optimize existing solutions. Given the wide variety of projects on the roadmap, you will be working in an exciting, dynamic growth environment allowing you to develop yourself while realizing projects with direct impact on ING clients.
You will be part of the One Orange Team; a team of more than 50 enthusiastic professionals working together to boost the ING-NN collaboration and driving success. At the start of this cooperation, you will be trained on the specific work environment you will be operating in, i.e. the NN
products and the ING environment.
What does your job as a Business analyst Life protection domain look like?
You have a digital first mindset:
- Given ING’s strategy of digital first, you feel at ease in introducing and developing digital concepts.
- Leverage the use of data to identify, track and optimize solutions.
You are a key player in E2E delivery of projects:
- Gather and clarify information from different stakeholders (clients, commercial network, compliance & legal, …) and define the best possible, innovative solutions.
- Translate this into detailed requirements for IT.
- Proactively manage projects: planning, communication, follow-up, etc. and ensure a smooth go live process.
- Identify and manage risks and potential issues across teams.
- Test and validate the newly developed solutions to ensure a qualitative delivery.
- Work close together with relevant project stakeholders (Architects, Product Owners, Feature Engineers and Customer Journey Experts).
- You will report to the OOT Life protection Insurance Manager.
This is how you fit perfectly into our team
- You are a colleague with a talent for taking it on and making it happen. You are enthusiastic for helping others to be successful and for always being a step ahead. In other words, you strive to bring fresh ideas to life and embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment.
- You are a naturally collaborative person who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals. You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.
- You are flexible and are stress-resistant.
- You have an analytical mindset; you are structured and responsible.
- You are an honest person, very professional, and able to explain issues and goals with great clarity.
- 5 Years of experience in project environment, having good knowledge of identifying stakeholder needs and translating this into requirements which can be interpreted and executed by IT teams.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and can find creative ways of driving progress and removing impediments.
- Experience working in a digital environment.
- Experience within the Investments domain, the Life insurance domain or in asset management.
- Experience with an agile way of working is a plus.
- Good communication skills (English is a must, and knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong plus), strong communication skills (telling – selling) across different skill and seniority levels.
