Description
Location: Columbus, OH Position Type: Remote Contract Length: Long-term with annual extensions Position Overview: This role is responsible for supporting the quality assurance process by designing, executing, and managing testing activities across the software development lifecycle. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to validate requirements, identify defects, and ensure high-quality deliverables in an Agile environment. Required Skills: 5 years of experience in manual software testing, including test case design and execution 5 years of experience using ALM Octane or similar workflow and defect tracking tools Preferred Skills: Experience working within debt collection systems or environments Experience with FICO/Jonas C&R Software Debt Manager Duties: Manage test runs, schedules, jobs, and testing calendars to ensure timely execution Review software requirements and user stories to develop effective test scenarios Design and develop manual test scripts aligned with business and technical needs Execute system, integration, regression, and other testing cycles Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and issues Produce detailed documentation for defects, test results, and overall testing activities Prepare and present comprehensive testing reports to the design team Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and vendors, to understand product requirements Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, gaps, and potential risks Deliver timely reviews, test designs, solutions, and supporting documentation Apply quality engineering best practices throughout the Agile development lifecycle Perform additional related duties as assigned
