Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst Manager to lead a team of Business Analysts within the Product function. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in business analysis or product management, combined with proven people management skills. This role will report into the Head of Product and requires a strategic thinker capable of aligning team efforts with business goals and driving team performance through effective leadership.
We offer hybrid working arrangement with one or two days per week in our Milton Keynes office.

EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably educated to graduate level with a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field
  • Proven experience working as a people manager, building and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven experience working as a business analyst, product owner or similar role
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, business analysis & product management practices
  • Knowledge of agile planning tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts
  • Ensure the team is delivering high-quality analysis and successful customer and business outcomes
  • Set business and personal development objectives, review performance and provide guidance and support in skill development and career progression
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the relevant business area(s) to be able to recommend high-level solutions and lead team members in their analysis work
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, delivery managers and key business stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure business analysis capability alignment and transparency with each cross functional team
  • Help resolve competing priorities in development or resourcing between stakeholders by facilitating stakeholder discussions, and escalate issues where appropriate
  • Expert on process and best practices for working with the business to understand the problems we are trying to solve and define Epics, Features and User stories
  • Lead the development of Product & Business analysis communities of practice together with other managers and the team thus accelerating the use of best practices, tools and modern product development practices
