Job Description
Overall Purpose
As a Business Analyst you will be part of the Tasman Change Team and will be responsible for requirements definition and change request management.

Responsibilities
  • Collating, understanding and documenting business requirements for change requests, or reviewing same from third parties
  • Creating clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria to guide the development team
  • Analysing and document both current (As Is) and proposed (To Be) business processes from an operational and system perspective.
  • Process mapping and re-engineering to create efficiencies
  • Presenting business benefits and articulating requirements at all levels including Senior Management.
  • Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and clients to manage expectations and ensure alignment.
  • Liaising between the development team and the business
  • Gathering requirements and creating spike/ change requests from incidents and errors
  • Ensuring that deliverables and documentation meets Mars Capital Change Delivery Model standards
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Pro-active / hands on approach to investigating issues and proposing solution designs in collaboration with other tech team members
