Mind Computing is seeking a Business Analyst to support our Application Packaging and Testing team in delivering software deployment services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This position plays a critical coordination and liaison role between VA stakeholders, software vendors, Application Packagers, and Testers. The selected candidate will manage intake requirements, oversee task assignments, monitor progress, and support issue resolution across the end-to-end application packaging lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a process-oriented mindset, and experience working in environments that use Microsoft PowerApps, SharePoint, and ServiceNow for request tracking and workflow automation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role in an IT or software services environment.
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft PowerApps and SharePoint for intake and workflow tracking.
  • Familiarity with software packaging and testing processes in enterprise or government settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Experience working with issue management processes and supporting cross-functional technical teams.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare agencies.
  • Familiarity with Operating System Deployment (OSD) processes.
  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Experience working in a software packaging or endpoint engineering environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for VA stakeholders submitting software packaging and testing requests.
  • Manage the intake and validation of new application packaging requests, ensuring required documentation and technical details are complete.
  • Use a PowerApps + SharePoint-based intake and workflow tool to schedule, assign, and track packaging and testing tasks.
  • Coordinate with Application Packagers and Testers to prioritize work, monitor deadlines, and manage task load.
  • Facilitate communication between Packagers and software vendors to clarify technical requirements, resolve compatibility issues, and gather missing information.
  • Document and track issue management activities, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder updates.
  • Support weekly status meetings and generate reports on request status, backlog, completion rates, and blockers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and enhance intake processes, documentation templates, and workflow steps.
  • Ensure compliance with VA standards and processes across intake, packaging, and testing workflows.
