JOB DESCRIPTION

Working closely with the business and IT groups, the position involves the management of ERP systems in Italy, user support, management of contacts with suppliers for the purpose of SW maintenance and custom developments.
The role includes maintenance and development activities of custom applications developed in a .NET environment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree with an emphasis in Engineering Business Management/Computer Science or appropriate experience in similar roles
  • Basic knowledge of company organization and main processes that govern it.
  • Basic knowledge of project management, autonomy in identifying activities, defining timing and controlling project progress.
  • Good knowledge on relational database.
  • Good knowledge of SQL language, preferably Oracle or MSSQL
  • Basic knowledge of programming language, preferably Java, C++, VB
  • Good knowledge of all MS OFFICE components, especially MS Excel and MS Access
  • Critical thinking approach and good problem solving skills
  • Communication skills written and spoken (projects, reports, instructions).
  • Aptitude for team work.
  • High propensity to learn both through training on the job and through the study of existing documentation.
  • At least two years of experience, preferably in IT field
  • This position is suitable for limited remote working and requires minimal travel in Italy and abroad (Europe).

Languages:

  • Italian: mother tongue or fluent in speech and writing.
  • English: good in speaking and writing.
