Business Analyst (Murex Migration Program)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the Money Market migration to the Murex platform. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting business, functional, and operational requirements, mapping current and future state processes, and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, technology teams, and the Murex delivery group. The role will also provide oversight on system integration points and support gap analysis to ensure business readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Treasury, Capital Markets, Operations, and Technology teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Perform current vs. future state process mapping and support gap analysis relative to Murex capabilities.
- Define and manage functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring traceability through the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the Murex vendor and internal teams to support interface design, system handoffs, and data flow documentation.
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
- Support the prioritization and validation of requirements during design and early implementation phases.
- Assist in preparing test plans and ensuring requirements coverage during testing phases.
- Maintain and manage business requirement artifacts in alignment with PMO and governance standards.
- Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale system migration or transformation programs, preferably in Financial Services / Capital Markets.
- Prior exposure to Murex or other trading platform implementations highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Treasury, Capital Markets, and trade lifecycle processes (front-to-back).
- Experience with requirements management, gap analysis, and process mapping (BPM, UML, or similar methods).
- Knowledge of system integration, data flows, and interface documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical groups.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and business readiness planning.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.
· 5–8+ years of Business Analysis experience, with at least 2–3 years in Capital Markets / Treasury programs.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $70.00-$90.00 per hour
