A talent pool may be created through this recruitment process to fill anticipated vacancies over the next 18 months Competitive remuneration ranging from $113,574 to $125,720 plus super & annual leave loading.   Join our team as a results driven Business Analyst where you’ll translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements, drive project visibility, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives blending business analysis with technical collaboration and practical project support to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with department objectives.   You’ll develop and deliver stakeholder requirements, project status reports, and improvement specifications; design knowledge-sharing processes and automation flows; elicit requirements from key stakeholders; provide technical expertise across the software development lifecycle; research and recommend department-aligned solutions; manage task schedules, milestones, and risks; translate user requests into design specifications; support detailed implementation and post-release knowledge capture with comprehensive documentation; and balance competing priorities to achieve program objectives.   For further information please click here to view the role description   About you  Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a closely related role. Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable plans. Familiarity with software development lifecycles and project management concepts (e.g., schedules, milestones, risk tracking). Experience with process mapping, knowledge-sharing design, and system automation initiatives a plus. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.   Essential requirements of the role Demonstrated experience collaborating a large-scale enterprise IT environment. Demonstrated ability to analyse and translate user requirements into comprehensive report for consumption by technical internal or external resources.
