Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a large healthcare organization. This is a fully remote contract opportunity. The Business Analyst will be responsible for acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated.

QUALIFICATION FOR THE BUSINESS ANALYST:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role within IT or marketing technology.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and enterprise data integration.
  • Familiarity with APIs and system interactions; comfortable participating in technical discussions.
  • Proven ability to manage requirements across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with business and technical teams to gather, document, and manage requirements across several concurrent projects.
  • Support Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration efforts, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
  • Collaborate with data teams working on enterprise data warehouse solutions; understand and contribute to data workflows and architecture.
  • Write clear, detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation to guide development and QA teams.
  • Track action items, decisions, and follow-ups from project meetings, serving as a reliable point of contact for project updates.
  • Represent technical teams effectively to business stakeholders, advocating for technical requirements and constraints.
  • Collaborate on API-related integrations, ensuring requirements are technically sound and feasible.
