ABOUT US

Our purpose is simple, to save lives at sea. And to save every one. 24 hours a day, every day, RNLI lifesavers are ready to launch to the rescue.
We’re looking for two Business Analysts to join our central portfolio office team for up to 12 months. The successful candidates will be part of a team of change professionals working with stakeholders to deliver a wide range of strategic projects to improve the quality of our services for our supporters, volunteers and staff. Projects and programmes at the RNLI are varied, and we are looking for all round business analysis experience.

Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:

  • Work across the RNLI at all levels, to gather, document and analyse functional and non-functional requirements which will be used to help define the scope and deliverables of strategic projects
  • Utilise business analysis tools and techniques including workshop facilitation, process mapping and requirements prioritisation
  • Support project stakeholders and teams to influence, develop and deliver strategic change within the organisation
  • Identify, analyse, and respond to project risks, pre-empting potential issues and in some cases challenging the design and development community to work towards solutions
  • Input into continuous improvement initiatives to improve the maturity of the BA team at the RNLI
