Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst resource available for immediate start to work on an existing project to deliver RTO funding management functionality in the existing GrantsNT system. https://grantsnt.nt.gov.au/welcome
Type: Contract Full-Time 8 work hours per day, 5 days per week (some flexibility required) Location: Onsite Darwin
Join the existing TCMS Replacement project team as dedicated BA responsible for delivering: - MVP functional requirements
requirements traceability matrix - FR to BR
tailored user manual & support documentation for the solution
other business and systems analysis & project documentation Contribute to project deliverables and outcomes including:
technical architecture / specification document (developer deliverable) & - test strategy / plan
training & handover content & activities
- ad-hoc reports and status updates
- transition to support activities
Work collaboratively with the project and support teams to ensure the success of the project and solution.
Project context:
This is an in-progress project aimed at enhancing an existing business system “GrantsNT” to manage RTO funding agreements between DITT & industry.
Functional requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholders have already commenced, so incoming resource will need to hit the ground running to familiarise themselves with the project, business requirements and MVP scope to allow for handover of the outgoing BA.
Outgoing BA & project team will be available to support onboarding.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Experience - Essential:
- Motivated self-starter who can proactively get “up to speed” quickly in an active project.
- Strengths in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Effective stakeholder engagement, and ability to host workshops confidently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex analytical and technical information into clear and meaningful terms. Experience on business systems analysis and design projects
- Understanding of project management methodologies and ability to work in a project to project deadlines. Experience producing technical and business documentation particularly functional requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work flexibly, under pressure to deliver to tight timeframes (e.g prioritise focus & workload)
Desirable:
Experience producing application testing, training, and handover documentation or content. Prior experience working on/in NTG ICT projects.
