SUMMARY:

The Business Analyst works with IT, business leaders and end users to implement projects from concept to implementation in the supply chain and manufacturing areas throughout Prinova. This includes eliciting, analyzing, specifying and implementing solutions that meet changing business requirements of internal and external stakeholders and/or provide efficiency gains to current processes. Serving as the functional expert, the analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills as he/she proactively works with the business and new technologies to optimize business processes. This individual will also be called upon to support other areas of the business.
This role requires a demonstrated ability to own and manage the entire life cycle of a project – including scoping, planning, budget estimating, identifying alternatives, selecting, testing and implementing. In addition, this position will evolve over time to take on additional roles and responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Identify processes for improvement, document existing processes, identify and analyze gaps between current processes and product capabilities, design new processes, develop process performance measures and assist users with transition to a new process
  • Handle day-to-day management of assigned projects and prioritize workload to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Work with the development team to make changes to programs within custom ERPs. Includes unit testing, integrated testing with users and final deployment
  • Provides primary support to global custom ERPs
  • Self-identify or meet with users to identify opportunities where technology can be utilized to optimize business processes
  • Create methods to identify data patterns and trends that assess the systems deployed and predict potential dilemmas or future opportunities
  • Prepare and present business proposals that offer alternatives and recommend the most viable option
  • Support other ancillary software systems in addition to the primary ERP

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Examples:

  • The candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the following:
  • ERP support preferably in manufacturing industries
  • Implementation and maintenance of sales order, procurement and inventory modules
  • Business analyst level understanding of a wide range of processes in manufacturing, MRP, warehouse operations, transportation, sales order, purchase order, inventory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point, SharePoint)
  • Experience with end-user mentoring (preferred)
  • Ability to work on multiple, complex technical problems concurrently
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Work environment is normally in an office setting. Must be able to make frequent rounds in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to view a computer screen and type for extended hours

  • Other physical requirements include moderate standing and occasional squatting, bending, and twisting
  • Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas
  • Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require
