About Us | Mō mātou   The Digital Services Te Pūnaha Matihiko branch is at the forefront of digital strategy, building capability and enabling customer-centred digital services that lift digital maturity across the public sector and Te Tari Taiwhenua. The role | Te tūnga   Working closely with the Lead Process Analyst and supporting the Technical Operations team the Process Modeler/Business Analyst group support New Zealand Government Agencies to adopt standard business processes for their back-office modernisation projects. A key role in the team, you will provide agencies with expert support, training and guidance in relation to the specific AOG business process framework, structure and models.   You will be responsible for;  * Delivering the BoDT service by providing guidance to users on how to navigate and use the NZ AoG Back-office Designs and NZ AoG Common Process Model (CPM)  * Working with Agencies to ensure they are engaged in the development and maintenance of the CPM and can implement the CPM in their organisation  * Ensuring users can easily navigate the CPM, understand the modelling taxonomy and standards used, and understand how to use these to model specifically for their agency  * Ensuring effective processes are in place for review and quality assurance of outputs, and feedback loops to ensure that, when delivered, practice and outputs meet the expectations of the users  * Producing business analysis deliverables in line with the System Development Life Cycle       * Contributing to the development of the BoDT Service tools to support government modernisation projects  * Delivering quality, timely and appropriately targeted training to all users that require it on utilisation of the CPM  * Ensuring training is relevant to the needs of users and responsive to changing priorities  * Establishing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationship across the BDT Service teams and with users  * Ensuring NZ AOG Back-office Designs are compliant with NZ Legislation and international best practice.  * Create appropriate documentation to support process modelling activity  * Collaborating with working groups on NZ AOG Back-office Designs  * Promoting the benefits to all stakeholders of BoDTS, including agencies, suppliers and working groups  * Working with a broad set of stakeholders including branch Change Advisory Board, Technical Advisory Board, IT Service Management, Business Intelligence Team, Back-office Modernisation Projects across government.  What you bring | Nōu te rourou  You will support delivery of Back-office Digital Transformation Services (BoDTS), by providing expert knowledge in relation to the NZ AOG Back-office Designs and the NZ AOG Common Process Model (CPM).  With exceptional process design and business analysis skills you will work closely with agencies to create and maintain business process models that support back-office modernisation projects and NZ AOG Designed SaaS Solutions.   To excel in this role, you’ll possess;  * In depth business process design and/or business process architecture modelling expertise  * Proven experience in providing high quality documentation and communications (verbal & written) within a project or programme  * Business process analysis and modelling experience including standard methods and techniques including best practice business analysis processes and tools  * Experience facilitating and leading effective online and in person workshops including fit for purpose training collateral and delivery user friendly targeted training to diverse participants * Proven experience in successfully managing diverse stakeholder relationships both within an organisation and externally  * An understanding of International and Government information standards and the machinery of government  * Excellent relationship building skills and will ensure collaborative and inclusive relationships are built and managed across internal and external teams  * A desire to be part of a high performing team and winning culture.  The Back office Digital Transformation Service (BoDTS) exists to reduce the cost, risk, complexity and time taken to deliver back-office systems, through standardised, high quality all-of-government processes, tools and systems.   Bring your skills and experience to the service, apply online today!   For you | Mōu At the Department of Internal Affairs, we are committed to offering a collaborative and innovative culture where your perspective and ideas will be welcomed.
