BUSINESS ANALYST:

Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a 5 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton (preferred) office.

BUSINESS ANALYST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the Customer Connection Model (CCM) team. The Business Analyst will analyze the current project management tool used by Project Server (APS), document current functionality, and work with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.

BUSINESS ANALYST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with IT process modeling and documentation tools.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

BUSINESS ANALYST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CBAP).
  • Experience in the Energy industry.
  • Familiarity with Project Server (APS).
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of Customer Connection Models.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
  • Utilize the current APS system to document key functionality critical to the CCM process and users.
  • Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
  • Work with IT and the CCM process teams to implement solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and updates to stakeholders and the CCM Program Manager.
  • Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
