Job Description – Business Analyst / Product Owner Job Title: Business Analyst / Product Owner Location: Austin, TX Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Wealth / Asset Management About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner with a strong background in the Wealth/Asset Management domain. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering requirements, defining product vision, managing the product backlog, and delivering high-quality digital solutions that align with business objectives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner. Strong experience in the Wealth/Asset Management industry. Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Expertise in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation. Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management and backlog prioritization. Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement gathering sessions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with Wealth Management platforms, Portfolio Management, Trading, Investment Advisory, or Client Onboarding. Familiarity with financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, ETFs, and Alternative Investments. Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally. Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation. Experience working with APIs and system integrations. Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services industry. Nice to Have Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification. Experience with digital transformation initiatives in Wealth/Asset Management. Exposure to data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
