NON-TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST – QUALITY OF CARE TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM

Location: Sydney CBD (Flexible Hybrid Work Model)
Employment Type: Fixed Term contract 6 months to end July 2025

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience of 3+ years as a Business Analyst, demonstrating ability to document and refine requirements with precision.
  • Consulting background highly desirable +++
  • End-to-end business analysis skills, including:


    • Data analysis for reporting and decision making.

    • Process mapping.
    • Functional and non-functional requirements gathering.
    • Skilled in writing user stories and facilitating workshops or meetings.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to navigate a complex organisation, build relationships, and manage through influence rather than authority.
    • Organised, systematic, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    This role is central to driving effective collaboration across operational and functional teams. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to analyse challenges, propose solutions, and ensure measurable outcomes. By advocating a customer-centric approach, you’ll play a key role in shaping and tracking initiatives that bring genuine value to Uniting’s Residential Aged Care services.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Comprehensive Analysis: Understand complex business problems from multiple perspectives, including processes, data, and people factors. Source and interpret relevant data to support initiative development and tracking, and aid decision making
    • Actionable Documentation: Craft clear user stories, visual process maps, and customer journey maps to communicate insights.
    • Stakeholder Workshops: Facilitate workshops to align perspectives, gather requirements, and refine priorities.
    • Value Realisation: Drive pre- and post-solution assessments to demonstrate business value delivered.
    • Reporting: Coordinate and compile reports including KPI progress reports, Executive and Board papers
