Position Overview: In this newly created role, you’ll have the opportunity to act as a Finance Business Partner, developing financial strategies to maximize project profitability while challenging the status quo and bringing innovative solutions to the table. KEY QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
CPA designation or active enrollment in a CPA program.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in finance/accounting, public practice, or advisory roles, ideally with exposure to real estate development or construction settings.
Extensive knowledge of development accounting structures (e.g., JV, LP, GP).
Proficiency in accounting systems and financial tools.
Superior analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.

Collaborate with diverse teams to design and maintain project budgets, execute periodic forecasting, and produce financial reports.
Actively identify and analyze financial risks and opportunities at the project level, working with senior stakeholders to create actionable plans.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure pre-construction and construction invoices are processed timely while adhering to monthly deadlines.
Prepare accurate monthly progress billing reports for customers and facilitate communication between construction leads and accounting teams.
Track, analyze, and reconcile project-level financials, including receivables, payables, holdback accounts, and draw requests.
Manage financial system administration throughout the project lifecycle, including vendor/customer creation, project coding, and reporting setup.
Monitor cash flow projections and equity funding across all project phases, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Develop methodologies to translate on-site labor data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making.
