About the Role We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst – Sales Excellence to support our sales and business development teams. The intern will work closely with stakeholders to analyze sales data, improve sales processes, track performance metrics, and help drive data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Analyze sales data, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making Assist in preparing dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership using tools like Google Sheets and CRM reports Support sales forecasting, lead conversion analysis, and revenue tracking Identify gaps, trends, and improvement areas in sales processes and funnel performance Coordinate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and process alignment Help document SOPs and best practices for sales excellence and operational efficiency Support automation of sales processes to improve productivity and reduce manual effort Manage and maintain existing reports, workflows, and automations Work extensively with CRM systems to track activities, analyze performance, and improve sales operations Collaborate with technical and engineering teams when working on integrations and automation initiatives Conduct market and competitor analysis when required Skills & Requirements Engineering or technical background is preferred Strong technical and analytical knowledge, with the ability to understand systems, data flows, and integrations Solid understanding of sales processes, sales funnels, KPIs, and revenue metrics Strong proficiency in Google Sheets / MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) Good working knowledge of CRM systems; Zoho CRM experience is a strong plus Preferred experience or interest in automating sales processes Familiarity with automation tools such as n8n, Pabbly, or similar workflow platforms Basic understanding of APIs, API calling concepts, and working with multiple system integrations Comfortable working with new technologies and AI tools to enhance reporting, analytics, and sales operations Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug process or data issues Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment About Us Apport Software Solutions Private Limited is a dynamic and innovative SAAS-based product company offering conversational commerce and empowering global brands with scalable personal commerce and relationship-led sales on WhatsApp. Started in 2017 with a vision of enabling global brands to win more customers using simple yet robust technology on mobile, today we have over 7000+ customers across 140+ countries using our technology to grow digitally.
