SEFE, an international energy company, ensures the security of supply and drives the decarbonisation of its customers. SEFE’s activities span the energy value chain, from origination and trading to sales, transport, and storage. Through its decades-long expertise in trading and the development of its LNG business, SEFE has become one of the most important suppliers to industrial customers in Europe, with an annual sales volume of 200 TWh of gas and power. Its 50,000 customers range from small businesses to municipalities and multinational organisations. By investing in clean energies and especially in the hydrogen ecosystem, SEFE is contributing to the energy transition. The company employs around 2,000 people globally and is owned by the Federal Government of Germany.

• Elicit and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders to create clear, actionable requirement documents and user stories for software development teams, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Design and optimise business processes and systems by applying business analysis techniques to deliver improvements that support organisational objectives and compliance with industry practices.
• Deliver end-to-end analysis across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through to solution implementation, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the process.
• Produce and validate functional specifications and modelling artefacts (including UML Use Cases, process flows, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), and data models) to support accurate system design and development.
• Engage with internal business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure collaborative delivery of shared project goals, resolving issues and ensuring alignment across all parties.
• Apply Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to manage iterative development, prioritise work effectively, and adapt quickly to changing requirements or constraints.
• Analyse and interpret energy industry business processes, particularly within Gas and Power retail operations, to ensure solutions are grounded in industry knowledge and reflect operational and commercial realities.
