This position is to support Department of Interior’s (DOI) Mission Support: Operational Efficiencies and Experiences project with the implementation of technology solutions and tools, and business process management to support a range of mission-critical, strategic goals and objectives. All areas involve the utilization of agile methodologies and continuous integration practices; resulting in adaptable technologies and business processes that can evolve with the Government’s strategic direction and objectives. This position also supports unique mission requirements with emphasis being placed on scalability, interoperability, accessibility, and long-term sustainability that are adaptable to changes in federal policy and/or Government mission requirements.
Seneca Technologies is seeking an Entry Level Analyst to join our team supporting federal government clients. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about technology and problem-solving, who is eager to build, test, and deploy applications using low-code/no-code (LC/NC) platforms. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop functional solutions, and ensure the quality and effectiveness of business applications that support critical government missions. This position does not require a traditional coding background but demands strong analytical, communication, and technical aptitude. This position is a remote position. This is a full-time employment opportunity, and the candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to complete/pass/hold a moderate public trust investigation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with federal clients and internal teams to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories for new applications or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Work with developers to utilize LC/NC platforms (such as Microsoft Power Platform, Appian, etc.) to design, configure, and develop business process workflows, user interfaces, data models, and reports that meet client needs.
  • Execute test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts to identify, track, and resolve defects, ensuring solutions are reliable and meet documented requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users to ensure successful adoption and effective use of the developed applications.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to facilitate a collaborative and efficient development lifecycle.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client.
  • Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
  • BS/BA or Currently Pursuing degree in Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related IT discipline preferred.
  • Relevant business analyst certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with user management (creating users, roles, assign privileges), troubleshoot errors, develop and test reconciliation routines to perform data clean up.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
