Job Description The Product Maintenance division is dedicated to delivering excellence and reliability in our live products to maximize client satisfaction and solidify long-term strategic partnerships. We are currently looking for an expert in the banking business, particularly in International Payments and bank cash operations, to join our team and build expertise in Manila for business components under the area of ACP. As a business expert in the team, you will ensure the features of the products we support are aligned to Avaloq's market and client needs as well as what we offer as standard solution. Your responsibilities include: Reviewing and analyzing incoming issues, identifying root causes and expected behavior. Collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads to align with client expectations on functional and non-functional requirements. Ensuring quality through end-to-end testing of code changes, and close collaboration with engineers during unit testing. Driving continuous improvement by linking recurring issues to product documentation and roadmap enhancements, and providing feedback on stakeholder needs to Product evolution teams. Qualifications You will need the following to succeed in the role: Proven experience in Banking/Payment Industry around solutions involving outgoing and incoming payments, standing orders and direct debit mandates, cash and card transactions, and cheque processing, involving SWIFT, SEPA, BACS, EBICS, SIC / euroSIC, and other international payment schemes / bureaus / standards Practical knowledge handling client tickets such as problems, incidents, change requests, and inquiries Ability to organize multiple complex tasks and prioritize efficiently for both you and your team Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial drive Excellent English communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, collaboration, and team spirit It would be a bonus if you have: Avaloq Core Platform knowledge Compliance, regulatory reporting, and other payment regulations such as PSD2, Instant payment experience Business know-how around Money market, Securities trading, Global and ex custody, Lending and credit management, or other banking operations Additional Information We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
