BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR- HEALTHCARE:

On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior- Healthcare for a 7 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR- HEALTHCARE - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves conducting comprehensive business analysis and user research to support the enhancement and maintenance of healthcare systems. This role requires leading the assessment of business problems and developing IT solutions in alignment with the Service Design Playbook.

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR- HEALTHCARE - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience with Long-Term Care, EMRs, HISs, and OHRS compliant systems
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience conducting user research as per Service Design Playbook
  • Knowledge and experience with the Fixing Long-Term Act 2021 and Digital Service Standard
  • Proficient in applying re-engineering/lean concepts
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR- HEALTHCARE – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of personal health information protection legislative requirements
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies/solutions
  • Familiarity with Ontario Design System
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and Miro
  • Awareness of emerging IT trends and technologies
Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct business analysis at varying levels of detail with relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct comprehensive user research with relevant end-user groups
  • Provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis lead services
  • Prepare detailed documentation to support Discovery and Alpha phases
  • Conduct ongoing business analysis activities within all phases of the digital service design lifecycle
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholder working groups
  • Liaise with the development and Quality Assurance teams
  • Manage and escalate issues in a timely and effective manner
