Job Purpose: The main purpose of the Senior Manager, Business Analyst role is to provide strategic leadership and direction in the analysis, design, and implementation of complex projects, particularly focusing on business process optimization and system capabilities within the insurance industry. Key Accountabilities: 1. Business Requirements Leadership: Provide strategic leadership in eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and project scope within the insurance industry. 2. Process Optimization and Design: Lead initiatives for in-depth analysis and optimization of insurance business processes, identifying improvement opportunities within the framework of complex project parameters. 3. System Capability Assessment: Evaluate and provide strategic insights on the alignment of system capabilities with intricate business requirements and process improvements within the insurance industry. 4. Data Analysis and Transition: Oversee the intricate analysis and transition of legacy data structures to new insurance core systems within complex project settings, ensuring seamless integration. 5. Functional Design and Implementation: Provide strategic guidance for the implementation of new insurance core system features that align with intricate business needs within the context of complex project parameters. 6. Change Management and User Adoption: Take a lead role in developing training materials and providing extensive support for change management activities, facilitating user adoption of new insurance core systems within complex project environments Qualifications: Education: · A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A master's degree or relevant professional certifications may be preferred for senior positions. Skills and Experience: · Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong emphasis on leading and executing complex projects in a corporate setting, particularly in the insurance industry. Extensive knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices, with a focus on requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation in complex project environments. · Advanced understanding of process mapping, optimization, and improvement within the context of insurance core systems. · Demonstrated expertise in solution evaluation and capability assessment, particularly with complex enterprise software related to insurance core systems. · Advanced data analysis skills, including experience in analyzing and transitioning legacy data structures to new insurance core systems within complex project settings. · Proficiency in developing detailed functional specifications and use cases for complex insurance core system implementations, aligning closely with intricate business needs. · Leadership experience in driving rigorous testing and validation processes, ensuring the thorough validation of implemented solutions against complex business requirements.
