On behalf of our government client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior for a 7.5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is seeking for a Senior Business Analyst to work on a project involving the development and enhancement of digital solutions. The role focuses on improving online user experiences and ensuring accessibility standards are met.

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Knowledge of backlog management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Pivotal Tracker
• Experience designing online user experiences for complex digital solutions
• Ability to deliver with a balanced team using Agile (SCRUM) methodologies
• Proficient with industry-standard design tools like Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator
• Knowledge of web usability and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.0 to 2.1 Level A & AA)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Experience in applying content layout and typography design principles

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Scrum master experience
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• Familiarity with online collaboration tools such as MIRO, Atlassian Confluence
• Experience with Ontario digital government standards
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor team members

• Work in a hybrid agile team to develop and evaluate online user experience and content strategies
• Develop product design criteria, plan activities, and manage product prioritization
• Apply agile approaches to improve design choices and adhere to web usability standards
• Visualize and design digital solutions that are user-friendly and accessible
• Conduct stakeholder consultations to assess business needs and prioritize feature requests
• Guide the team in designing digital solutions and lead prototyping activities
• Provide technical advice on usability, accessibility, and front-end design
• Contribute to project status reports and present solution design options
