BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR:

On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves providing a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services to address diverse business and technological needs. The role requires leading and conducting business analysis to document requirements, develop strategies, and support I&IT solutions.

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Strong Agile and Waterfall experience
• Experience developing functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience with MS Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Azure DevOps / Jira
• Experience with Enterprise Transformation / Modernization projects
• Experience in leading in-depth workshops for business requirements
• Ability to interpret data, policy, and financial information
• Acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience in information retrieval packages
• Knowledge of Information Management principles
• Understanding of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA)
• Experience with structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies
• Experience developing performance measures for business analysis

• Provide holistic leadership across business analysis and project outcomes.
• Interact with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs.
• Prepare and advise on business analysis policies and best practices.
• Manage product backlog and coordinate team activities.
• Prepare training materials and lead presentations.
• Support QA, UAT, Architecture, and Technical activities.
• Conduct discovery, cost-benefit analysis, and prototyping.
