On behalf of our Information & Information Technology client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior for a 7 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, ON office.

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Analyst - Senior will engage in a comprehensive range of business analysis services to meet diverse client needs. This role involves understanding and documenting business requirements to facilitate effective I&IT solutions. The project focuses on business improvements through alternative service delivery approaches and aligning with standardized methodologies.

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Experience developing context diagrams, use cases, and use case models
  • Experience creating systems diagrams and mapping integration specs
  • Experience developing process maps
  • Experience developing functional and non-functional requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications

BUSINESS ANALYST - SENIOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with custom development in cloud native systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge of Information Management principles and practices
  • Experience with structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies
  • Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies
  • Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA)
Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services
  • Interact with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business needs
  • Prepare and advise on business analysis policies and best practices
  • Lead business analysis to assess business problems/opportunities
  • Develop strategies, business cases, and conduct feasibility studies
