Description

SAIC is looking for an experienced Business Analyst Sr. to join our team at the DOI. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and analyze business needs. * Establish and develop relationships between customer and stakeholders * Research and summarize federal and organizational policies related to data management and data governance * Review, write, and edit technical documentation and organizational policy * Define and develop business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics * Facilitate or lead discussions or workshops to identify areas of improvement, business needs, insights and validate findings * Analyze current state processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions to optimize workflows * Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations to communicate policies and workflows Ideal candidate will possess the following skills: * Strong technical writing * Ability to synthesize and distill complex information * Ability to effectively communicate business information with a diverse audience * Strong PowerPoint skills * Ability to manage multiple assignments * Proactive in identifying issues or recommending improvements * Understanding of organizational structures and organizational change management * Experience with IT systems, GIS systems, Geospatial data environments, and data analysis, is preferred * Experience supporting data governance initiatives and data platform operations, is preferred SAIC® [http://www.saic.com/] is a premier Fortune 500® mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
